CD and DVD duplication: the process

At Noisegate Media we are specialists in short run CDs and DVD duplication.  We've been publishing CDs and DVDs for ten years so we are expert at ensuring great results.

Preparing and submitting your order

We ask that you supply a CD or DVD master. Our duplicators create discs that are identical to a master, so you can be sure that the discs we deliver will work in the same way as your original.

If you can't supply a master disc we can make one for you - click here for our mastering services. We will ask you to check a proof copy before we start duplicating so you'll need to allow a little extra time for this to happen.

Artwork needs to be submitted as 300dpi JPEG, PDF or PDF files. For your on-body CD print,  it is simplest to supply a 12cm square with no cutout or lines around the edge or in the middle - our printer will apply the appropriate 'mask' to the artwork depending on the media we're printing on. We ask for payment in full when we accept your order and accept payment by PayPal or BACS.

Printing and duplicating

We use a high-quality Epson inkjet printing robot and print directly onto the face of white CDs and DVDs. We can deliver anything from a simple text and logo print to a superb photo-quality full cover finish.  Matching colours from one type of printing to another is always tricky so if you need your disc print to match other branded items exactly please mention this when you place your order so we can discuss the best option with you.

Our duplication machines check the integrity of your original master data before we start duplicating, however we are not able to watch or listen to your masters. If you have any questions or concerns about creating a master please let us know and we'll do our best to help.

Collection and shipping

Most orders are completed within 3-5 working days and you'll be given an ETA when you place your order.  If you need a rush job please talk to us about our express service and if at all possible we will meet your deadline.

You're welcome to collect your order from our office, or we can ship your discs to you or your client. Small orders are usually shipped by Royal Mail; larger orders are sent by next-day courier.
